Crowns And Bridges
When a tooth is too damaged to be repaired by means of a partial restoration, it has to be covered with a crown in order to prevent additional damage. It can be used for broken teeth, teeth having been repaired using a treatment of channel or to cover the teeth having undergone large fillings. They can also correct the bad position, the form, occlusion and the color of a tooth.
The crown covers a tooth, which is present in mouth. The bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth and it takes anchoring on the close teeth. The crown and the bridge can be out of porcelain, metal alloy with a porcelain covering (ceramo-metal) or out of ZIRCONIA with a porcelain covering.
